Julián Campos - Director // Editor

My interest in filmmaking first emerged while I was living in Monteverde, Costa Rica. At the time I was 13 years old and simply wanted to document the day to day mischief of my friends and I. Having grown up in the urban environment of Los Angeles, I was fascinated by the adventures that could be found in the dense cloud forest surrounding our small town.

Upon returning to the United States, during high school, I began to exercise my eye in the realm of action sports. I found myself fully emerged in both the Skateboarding and Freerunning communities. Initially, I decided to focus my studies in cinematography. However, during my time at Art Center College of Design, I quickly found my passion for conceptualization and storytelling; so I shifted my focus to directing.

I find that my curiosity is the driving force in my creative process. More often than not my inspiration comes from watching others; finding stories in everyday occurrences and unique human experiences. As a filmmaker I strive to share human narratives, both fiction and non-fiction, that viewers can relate to and learn from. For me, the most exciting and fulfilling part of filmmaking is its ability to present new and unique perspectives to audiences all over the world.
